Event Abstract

The Rising Star Networking Events are for the serious business manager who is looking to build his or her rolodex and relationship base in NYC in an optimal setting for efficient networking. This is not for the "free drink" crowd or the casual hanger-on that seem to be creeping into networking events these days. We screen every attendee to insure they meet our criteria.

It's the best way to meet business people that matter most to you; all in a private setting.

Who Should Attend

Managers who want to connect and meet other serious business people.

Agenda

A New York nightlife scene with no fashionistas and playboys. What a relief.

As if created just-in-time, enter SPIN New York -- the first club of its kind to blend a high end lounge with serious ping pong playing.

(And Olympic quality tables.)

We've rented the private room at SPiN, which includes a $60,000 ping pong table for your use. Imagine, the folks over at Marquee and those snooty clubs must be rolling their eyes. No matter, we'll have a lot more fun and there's no velvet rope, so don't worry about what to wear. Just come prepared to do some serious networking and play some serious ping pong.

SPiN New York is a new concept in the art of sporting and socializing. Having already attracted the likes of the New York Times and Vanity Fair, celebrities including Susan Sarandon, Owen Wilson, Salman Rushdie, Oliver Stone, The Beastie Boys, etc., etc., SPiN has state-of-the-art facilities and modern décor designed by world renowned designer Todd Oldham.

SPiN New York offers unparalleled table tennis courts, including Olympic-caliber cushioned flooring, 12 individual tables and a stadium-like center court. In addition, the club has a 30-foot bar, restaurant, lounge, ping pong pro shop and a private room (which is sponsored by the iconic fashion sportswear brand Fred Perry. Before his Tennis Grand Slam glories in the 1930's he was World Table Tennis Champion in 1929. The 'Fred Perry Room' houses the world’s most expensive ping-pong table made entirely of mirror, stainless steel and glass).
