Ross is currently in his second season as the Corporate Controller of the Golden State Warriors. In this role, he oversees all day-to-day accounting, payroll, and treasury functions for the organization.
Ross has over 20 years finance leadership experience in a variety of start-up, emerging, and high growth business environments. Most recently, Ross served as Vice President of Finance for Apttus Corporation, an enterprise software as a service company, where he was responsible for all day-to-day and long-range financial planning, accounting and fund raising. The Company more than quadrupled its enterprise value during his four years.
Prior to Apttus, Ross made two international moves. The first with Deloitte when he moved from his native Canada to San Francisco in 2000 and then more recently with Electronic Arts from the Bay Area to Singapore in 2007 and back to California in 2012. During this time, Ross held several positions covering auditing, financial planning and reporting and Controllership responsibilities.
Ross is both a Canadian and US CPA and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Canada. He and his wife Danielle live in Castro Valley, CA with their three children and Goldendoodle named Harvey.
