In his 18th year at the NFL, Aaron Amendolia has been instrumental in overseeing major innovative projects, ranging from establishing the office of the CIO, standardizing metrics, and enabling data-based planning…to implementing emerging technologies (fan/customer engagement, etc.) while maintaining operational targets. Aaron also oversees DevOps, automation, collaboration, security and mobility.

Chris Hanz joined the Astros in March 2016 with over 25 years of information technology leadership experience across a variety of industries, including consulting, energy trading, oil and gas, chemicals, and logistics and transportation. Chris provides strategic leadership for the club’s information technology investments and oversees the day-to-day operation of technology for the Astros and Minute Maid Park, plus the club’s owned affiliates and other operating locations.

Prior to joining the Astros, Chris worked in a variety of information technology leadership roles with companies including Accenture, Duke Energy, CEVA Logistics and most recently Halliburton. Chris joined Halliburton in 2014 and served as Senior Manager of IT Mergers and Acquisitions where he was instrumental in executing two major divestitures from the company’s business portfolio. Prior to holding that post, Chris was a partner in the CIO Advisory practice for Tatum, LLC and led a number of business process improvement, technology strategy and M&A projects.
