Jonathan Corbett is Vice President and Chief Privacy Officer of MetLife, Inc. In this role, he has responsibility for the design and strategic direction of MetLife’s global privacy compliance program, as well as oversight of privacy risk for the enterprise.
Prior to his current role, Corbett was the director of MetLife’s Global Anti-Corruption Unit. Appointed to this position in April 2014, Corbett was responsible for overseeing MetLife’s global anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, trade and economic sanctions, and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) compliance programs.
Corbett joined MetLife in June 2012 after spending 5 years practicing law at a New York City law firm.
Corbett received a B.A. in political science, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.
Scott Dowling leads LPL’s team responsible for compliance and regulated messaging systems. He provides strategic guidance, architecture and expertise across all of LPL’s compliance, legal and risk business units. Over the past several years, Scott successfully guided LPL through several key regulatory challenges, developing industry-leading technology for both email and messaging compliance. Scott also served as Chief Architect of UVEST Financial Services for several years prior to their acquisition by LPL Financial in 2007.
Prior to working in the financial industry, Scott owned and operated a successful software business, having developed a specialized reservation system for adventure travel businesses.
