Annie Duflo is the Executive Director of Innovations for Poverty Action, an international organization committed to finding and promoting evidence-based solutions to global poverty problems. Prior to joining IPA, Annie was the Executive Director of the Centre for Microfinance (CMF) at the Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR) in Chennai, India, which she joined at its creation. Annie holds a Master’s of Public Administration and International Development from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and Master’s in Social Sciences from EHESS in Paris. Martin Babinec is founder of TriNet and has supported the company's growth in key areas such as M&A activity, strategic development, investor and analyst relations and building and leveraging key partner relationships. He also founded UpVentures, which invests in startups and he serves as limited partner and advisor to several venture capital and seed funds. Martin is a Co-founder and mentor of StartFast Venture Accelerator and founded Upstate Venture Connect. Martin serves on the Board of Advisors for the Kauffman Foundation's Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership. He speaks frequently on topics ranging from entrepreneur and company development, leadership, human resources management, outsourcing and regional economic development. Martin is a recipient of Silicon Valley Service Entrepreneur of the Year award.
